Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are showing positive results by attracting diverse investments and creating market connections for farmers. The Industry Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) reports that 150 out of 177 available sheds in SEZs are now occupied by both domestic and foreign investors. In the past nine months, 80 new investments were attracted to these zones. The focus is expanding beyond textiles and garments to include various sectors, and efforts are underway to integrate SEZs with local resources. Over 85,000 farmers have been directly linked with industries across all SEZs.
